Here is a Messerschmitt Bf 109B-2 (D-1?) Pilot - Hptm Gotthard Handrick Gruppenkomandeur J88 Legion Condor, Spain Feb. 1938.

Gotthard Handrick won the gold medal in the pentathlon at the Berlin Olimpics of 1936. . Handrick's Bf-109 was marked with the five Olympic rings on the spinner and the Top Hat (Zylinder Hut) was an emblem of 2./J88. Hptm Gotthard

Handrick scored five victories during the Spanish Civil War.
