Tamiya's
1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 (with the corrected nose)
is available online from Squadron.com
This is the original issue 1/48 scale Tamiya
Bf-109E-3, funky nose and all.
Built almost straight from the box, the only additions were a resin
Ultracast seat and brake lines added from fine solder. An excellent
full-build review of the Tamiya kit by Scott Van Aken can be found on
Modeling Madness at
http://m2reviews.cnsi.net/scotts/axis/luft/me/109/109e.htm
The finish was achieved with the late lamented Aeromaster enamels as
well as decals from Aeromaster's 48-110: Marauding Emils JG 26 (see
http://m2reviews.cnsi.net/scotts/decals/aero/am48110.htm for a review of
this sheet). The markings are for an aircraft of 2/JG26 Ca. November
1940.
