Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6

Here is Hasegawa's 1/32 scale built straight out of the box.

I used an Eagle Editions decal set to replicate an aircraft that was shared by both JG 53 and JG 1 (as evidenced by the JG 53 emblem on the cowl and the red JG1 Reich Defense band) in Italy.

Paint was faded a bit to replicate service under the hot Italian sun, but other than that, weathering was kept
to a minimum.
