Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6
Joe's Air Force

Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here's a fantasy Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 from the comic `Joe's Air ForceŽ by Pepe Moreno.

There's nothing left that can be said about the 1/32 scale Hasegawa kit, so let's get on to the painting.

Gunze Sangyo paints were used for the RLM 74/75 and 76 was mixed from Tamiya acrylics with the following ratios:

50% XF-23 + 40% XF-2 + 10% X-18.

The contours for the nose art was hand drawn on the kit with a lead pencil after painting the nose white,
then the lines were transferred on frisket paper for a painting template.

The template was cut with an X-acto knife and stuck back on the kit. The Yellow 6 was also masked and
airbrushed. The rest are kit decals.

A minimum amount of weathering was done with oil colours and dry brushing.
