Description

Here is my Aeroclub 1/48 B.6 Canberra in the Raspberry Ripple scheme.

I built this multi-media kit out of the box with no major modifications. Aeroclub kits give everything you need to finish this kit.

I had a friend on mine do the art work for the decals and sent to Mike Grant. He is such good guy - his product is the best along with speedy service.]

Another Mike, this time from EZ Masks in Canada, is another good guy. He will, for a cost, create custom masks for you. I needed a thin white outline around all the natioanl insignas. Cutting circles is not one of my strong points. He made the hard job easy. Any of you guys needing his service should contact him on the web. He is listed in Tony's Matelliano's site.

I used Tamiya Acrylics for the red and white and Xtracolor for the blue.

After painting the model I glossed it then put the decals on.

Both the Mike Grant and Aeroclub decals went on with no problems.

I use a little semi gloss for the final finish.

I hope that Aeroclub continue with the line. My next one will be a B57B using this kit as my starting point.
