Challenger I, Mk.3

Here is Tamiya's 1/35 scale Challenger I Mk.3. This vehicle of the Desert Rats is depicted during the Gulf War of 1991
 
It's built straight from the box, except for the cover of turret basket (made of Tissue and white glue),  and it was painted with Testor enamels.
 
I have used, for weathering, a general wash done with oil color thinned in mineral spirit, several light coats of airbrushed dark sand along the edges and a final drybrushing  with light sand and aluminium.

The lower hull it was finally airbrushed with a shade of color similar to dust.
