H-19 Chickasaw

Italeri's 1/72 scale Chickasaw is available online from Squadron.com

This is Italeri's 1/72 scale H-19B Chickasaw helicopter built straight from the box.

It was brush painted (not airbrushed) with Testor's Metalizer Aluminum paint using very soft Tamiya brushes and polished out with SNJ Aluminum Polishing powder. This got rid of almost all of the brush marks in the paintjob.

A coat of Future was added over the polished paint and the decals added to that.

This was a very enjoyable build without having to put on the full NBC suit to paint it.
