Here are photos of my 1/24 scale Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-9 which I just completed after 8 LONG months of work. This model was a real bear to to build!

I started with the Airfix 1/24 Fw-190A5/6 and added Jerry Rutman's 1/24 Fw-190D-9 conversion kit. Parts of the landing gear and cockpit were scratchbuilt.

I finished my model as "Red 1" from the famous JV 44 of the "Galland Circus."

Decals were from Mike Grant Decals.
