Tamiya's 1/16 scale Luftwaffe Pilot Ace is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my German Luftwaffe Ace Pilot from Tamiya's World Figure Series in 1/16 scale.

This was my first figure so I used Sheperd Paine's book ''How to build diorama'' as a guide to help me paint the face. I painted the face using artist's oil paint as stated in the book. The rest was painted with Tamiya acrylic using the back of the box as a guide.

Two heads are included in the kit, one with the hat and the other with no hat. The front of the box shows a generic fighter pilot, but the heads included in the kit looks just like Adolf Galland and that is the look I tried to obtain.

This very good little kit is a good way to get into figure making and I am happy with the result.
