Tamiya's 1/48 scale Bf 109E-3 is available online from Squadron.com

Karl Reiter took out second place in the Teenage Aircraft category at the 2004 IPMS USA Nationals in Phoenix with his 1/48 scale Tamiya Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3.

The model was painted with Tamiya acrylics.

Karl is the 15 year old nephew of HyperScale contributor Roger Fabriconi, but he had very little coaching on this project. Karl would bring the model to Roger's work during construction to show progress, and Roger would offer advice, but he made all the painting, construction, decaling decisions himself.

It would appear that modelling talent is genetic!
