The Curtiss C2R-2 was a float version of the earlier wheeled C2R-1,
prepared for 1924 Schneider Trophy, and eventually cancelled.

This airplane set an unofficial world speed record of 227,5 mph.
This is really “shake and bake” kit. Even for a slow builder like me, it
took only a week to complete it.

The moulds have only few bubbles, and a very little amount of filler
was needed. I had a little trouble with floats (hard to align properly),
and I changed very oversized exhaust pipes.
