Introduction

Here is Accurate Armour's 1/35 scale Daimler Mk.II Armoured Car.

I was lucky enough to get this at a swap meet for $40.00. The date stamped on the inside of the box was from 1985, so I don't know if they still make it.

The kit consisted of a resin body, turret and wheels, with photoetched parts for the sand channels and fittings, and white metal parts for the suspension and gun.

The kit was simple to build, with only the the usual clean up needed on the resin pieces.

It was painted with Tamiya Paints, using a mixture of greens to get the right shade. The 'Micky Mouse' pattern was done in Nato Black.

Mig pigments were used to give it a dirty appearance.

Hope you like it.
