This is the latest Ozmods release - a Grumman Panther F9F. The kit
came with a very nice cockpit and seat .
You need to take some care when cutting parts from the sprue, but I
only have one criticism of the the kit - the tail. You need
sand the left and right sides of the tail (on the inner area) and check
fit to the rest of fuselage, the other tip is cut the horizontal
stabilizators in 2 parts (left and rigth) and sand the excess .
The kit is ready to build and I used Tenax R to joint parts and some
Cyanocrylate bond as filler, no putty, you can see here in a picture
before primer and paint.
I have some troubles in paint , I used Gunze acryl paints and their
Midnigth blue is too dark ,so I repainted with Gunze Navy Blue.
The kit came with 2 decal options. The first version is a F9F-2 of
VfF-21 (you can find the picture in Squadron in action page 17) , the
other is a F9F-5 of Vf-192 (same as in The Bridges of Toko-ri) .
