Academy's 1/32 scale F/A-18C Hornet is available online from Squadron

This is my 1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet. I used Eduard accessories:

• XL 51 Express Mask

• 32 105 Exhaust set

• 32 106 Hornet exterior

• 32 107 Hornet armament

• 32 108 Hornet placards

• 32 510 Hornet interior

Camouflage and decals are out of the box: for F/A-18 C, CVW-9, USS John C. Stennis, Bu. No. 163777, VFA-146 "Blue Diamonds", 2002. Decals were softened with Gunze Mark Setter and Softer and Agama Hypersol.

I used camouflage colors Lifecolor Light Ghost Grey (FS 36 375 - UA 026) and Dark Ghost Grey (FS 36 320 - UA 027) thinned with water.

I preshaded the model with Tamiya paints:

• Deck Tan XF-55

• Red Brown XF-64

• Dark Sea Grey XF-54

Weathering is done with oil artists paints Payne´s Gray, White and Raw Umber.
