Well, you saw the recent review and now here is the completed result with a few extras. Not long ago I reviewed the 1/35 scale European Well from Custom Dioramics. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to incorporate this small but interesting structure in a new vignette. I added a figure set from Lincoln County Line, also reviewed earlier on HyperScale, and some odds and ends from my spares box.
The vignette tells the story of two German soldiers appreciating a lull in the fighting. Although they may not have been at all interested in this small landmark during peacetime, they are now fascinated with the stubborn structure that has remained intact in the face of fierce street fighting. The entire vignette was painted by hand using Vallejo Acrylic paints and testor's Model Master enamels for the flesh tones and weathering. I enjoyed putting this little scene together and hope that you like it. Thanks to VLS for the review samples.
