Here is my 1/72 scale Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki (Tojo) from Hasegawa.
This project took around six months.
The detail and improvement parts are all handmade by me - no aftermarket
sets were used.
Markings were mostly applied using stencils over an oil-base paint
finish.
I use the point of a retractable knife for the straight line engraving
of panel lines, and a needlework needle for the curved panel lines.
Landing gear doors and similar parts were fabricated using metal from a
beer can.
I enjoyed photographing my model. The propeller is spun with the
hand-held hair drier. The sky and the background are sceneries near my
home.
The photographs were taken in natural light between 10am and 11am.
