This is Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Ki-61 Hein.

I was surprised and a bit let down by the fit of the wings to fuselage, I had to sand the wing roots down a lot and there were numerous gaps, I still think there is a hint of anhedral to the wings.

This was my first attempt with Alclad II and I was very impressed. I didn’t bother with different shades for the panels.

I sprayed all the markings, the tail marking came from a profile I saw on the web, unfortunately I can’t remember any unit details.
