1/48 scale Mosquito FB.VI
is available online from

The old Airfix 1/48 scale Mosquito FB.VI is still quite a good kit,
even when compared to the newer Tamiya offerings.
I collected the kit and all the Paragon resin parts to make a PR34
long before Tamiya announced their new range.
The items from Paragon required to make a PR34 were new 2 stage
engine nacelles, bulged bomb bays and camera ports, canopy. Also added
from Paragon were the dropped flaps and bulged wheels. Etched metal
parts were from an old Airwaves set providing good detail for the
scratched built cockpit, radiators and wheel wells.
The kit was finished as an aircraft based at the Photo Reconnaissance
Development Unit at RAF Benson in 1948 finished in overall PRU Blue.
