P-51D with Ramjets

Here is Laurence Farrugia's 1/48 scale North American P-51D Mustang with wing tip ramjets. This kit was offered by Hasegawa, and it does represent a real test-bed aircraft that flew in 1947/48. The markings, however, are theoretical.

The model was photographed at this year's Australian Model Expo at the Sandown Convention Centre, Melbourne.

Photographs were taken using a Nikon D70 fitted with a 60mm Micro-Nikkor lens and two 500W studio flashes.
