Tamiya's 1/48 scale Schwimmwagen will be available online from Squadron
 

When Steve Palffy ordered Tamiya's new 1/48 scale Tiger I recently, he also purchased the Tamiya 1/48 scale Schwimmwagen.

Steve was impressed with the detail and buildability of this new little kit. Construction to date has only taken around an hour.

The only problem observed so far is the lack of foot pedals - a common issue with Tamiya's 1/35 scale Schwimmwagen and Kubelwagen too.

A more detailed description of construction, plus photos of the finished (and painted) model in a diorama setting, will be posted in the coming weeks.
