Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Spitfire VIII is available online from Squadron.com

Here is Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII built by Mick Evans and finished in the fearsome markings of 457 Sqn RAAF. This unit was known as the "Grey Nurse" Squadron, after the Grey Nurse shark.

Mick's model depicts a 457 Sqn Spitfire Mk.VIII on Morotai Island during 1945.

Hasegawa's kit was built straight from the box except for replacement resin seat from Ultracast. This high-quality seat has the harness cast in place. Decals are from Aeromaster.
