TBM-1C Avenger
VC-79, 25 February, 1945 |

Academy's 1/72 scale TBF Avenger is available online from Squadron.com
I have always wanted to make an aircraft model with
everything “inside and out”, but based on a real situation. So, when I
found this picture in Squadron- Signal “Flight deck- US Navy Carrier
Operations 1940-1945”, I couldn't resist.

This is my version of this event.
Here is Academy's 1/72 scale kit with Aires resin (quite bad), Eduard
photoetch, Pavla vacuformed canopy, Equipage wheels and many parts
scratchbuilt.

All markings were painted. Some of the accompanying
pictures show this model during construction.
Please enjoy.
