This is my Hasegawa 1/72 Lockheed TF-104G
Starfighter in Bicentennial markings. The Bicentennial markings on the
vertical fin were hand-painted.
Cockpit details, including canopy frames, were made from round or square
plastic rods and strips. Their edges and details were dry brushed in
acrylic silver after the painting was completed.
The SUU-21 practice bomb dispensers attached under both wings were
replaced from the ESCI 1/72 F-104C.
Inside details and practice bombs on the left wing dispenser were fully
scratchbuilt.
I posed the drag chute door in open. Door actuators were made from
plastic rod,. The chute canister was made from lead foil.
The model was entirely brush painted with Gunze Silver.
