Here is my 1/48 scale TP-40N conversion based on the Eduard / Mauve P-40N Warhawk.

There is no commercially available 1/48 scale conversion for the two-seater P-40 trainer, so I modified kit parts, scratchbuilt unique distinguishing features and adapted some after-market sets for the task.

The photo below shows a few of the custom-made parts being test-fitted before assembly and painting.

This project is described in detail, including more than 50 captioned construction photos, in the recently released Osprey book, "Modelling the P-40 - Hawk 81, Tomahawk, Warhawk and Kittyhawk".

Five other P-40 models across the range of variants and scales, plus reference photos, are also covered in this new title.
