Here is a 1/72 scale Vickers-Armstrong Warwick based on the Contrail
kit as re-released by Aircraft in Miniature
( www.aim72.co.uk ) in the 1990's.
The model built by Graham Carter and decked out for D-Day on 6 June, 1944..
Graham points out that his interpretation of the colour code'K' on
the fuselage as yellow is probably incorrect. It is more likely that it
should be light slate grey. Graham is in the process of making a
replacement set of markings.
This model was photographed at the ACT Scale Modellers' Society
Annual Competition held during May 2004 in Canberra, Australia's
national capital.
