Gloster Gladiator Mk.I

Roden's 1/48 scale Gladiator Mk.I is available online from Squadron.com

This is my Roden 1/48 scale Gladiator Mk.I which I built straight from the box. The only addition was the Eduard coloured harness.

The rigging was made from very fine Evergreen strip painted with Testor's Metalizer Steel to try to replicate the airfoil effect of the real rigging.

The flying surface actuator wires are from fine piano wire.

The aluminium doped effect was attained using the old Floquil Railway paints' Bright Silver.

I found that the kit decals were quite outstanding with the help of Solvaset setting solution.
