Andrea Miniatures

Andrea Miniatures' Hamian Archer 125 AD is available online from Squadron.com

Description

The Hamians were indigenous to Syria and were employed by the Romans as auxiliaries.

Andrea Miniatures' 54mm metal  kit is very simple. It consists of only five parts: the body, head, left arm/bow, sword, and quiver. You must twist the bow ends inward in order to string the bow. I used stretched sprue.

The model was painted using Andrea Acrylics.

The helmet is the buffed metal of the kit, however the mail was painted Gun Metal and given a black wash - heavier in some places to denote shadows.

This figure is displayed on Andrea's round base, item no. AEPR003.
