Glen Porter built the old Airfix 1/72 scale Kingfisher kit with only a few additions and improvements.

Glen sanded the multitude of rivets off the floats and other areas, although the raised panel lines are still in place.

The rear canopy and the sliding section of the pilot's canopy have been replaced with items from the Falcon US Navy vacform canopy set.

The model is painted using enamels. The upper surface colours are Extra Dark Sea Grey and Slate Grey. Decals are from a number of different sources including a generic aircraft codes sheet from Super Scale.
