Here is my Mercedes Benz L 4500 R halftrack undercarriage - wooden cab in 1/35 scale. The model is produced by Eagle cz.

The kit of this German lorry from the Second World War comprises approximately 100 resin and more than 30 photoetched parts. Although I do not have a lot of experience with full resin kits, I was surprised by the quality of the pieces. It is very clearly and precisely made. I started work on the kit after I divided and cleaned the pieces for the first.

The pieces are designed very well. They fit together precisely and almost no putty is required. It is a full resin kit with many metal parts and so it is appropriate for skilled modellers.

The metal track for the undercarriage are included. They are from Friul model.

The kit is painted/airbrushed with the German Yellow from Model Master, black and gunmetal from Humbrol, shadowing and weathering is made with help of Rust from Humbrol, water tempera colors (black and red-brown), and also dry chalk. It all is covered by several layers of very thin lacquer.

The figures are from Academy, barrells and jerry cans are from Tamiya. The wooden base is home made from wooden house doorsill.
