I used Italeri's Messerschmitt Me 262 kit No 2613 in 1/48 for this
project. I decided to change the standard German colours and markings to
a Russian style.
I became very frustrated when TAMIYA released their new kit of the
same model but of a better and unbelievable quality. I tried to finish
painting my Italeri model as quickly as I could without getting into any
difficult work with the German camouflage, so I used a Russian scheme
because it was less complicated.
The scheme represents a plane which was captured by the Soviets.
Since I didn`t want it to be boring, I used figures of pilots and
technicians from ICM kit.
