Dear HyperScalers,
With this cartoon I am sharing my comic view on aviation. As a comic
strip artist I was asked to make a few for a publication some time ago,
but they turned out to be so much fun that I cranked out one after
another, presently representing aircraft from WWII to present. As at the
time of writing this, January 2004, I have about 30 ready and will be
creating more.
It is my intention to commercialize them in the not too distant future.
Plans for a publication, T-shirts and other merchandizing have already
been made, I am just waiting to complete about 100 of them so there will
be something for everyone's interest.
All this merchandizing will be presented on a website, still to be
created. The name of the site will be posted on the HyperScale Forum when
it is ready.
Unfortunately, being a professional artist (yes, I need to eat and pay
bills too), I cannot send out free samples and framed prints, as many have
asked.
But, I would like to get some feedback and suggestions, so when the
time comes when they will be commercially available, your "baby" may be
part of the inventory.
Also, if you have a funny story, aviation related of course, that might be
suited for a comic view such as this, I would love to hear it.
In the meantime, I will be sending Brett new cartoons an a regular basis.
I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy drawing them.
Happy landings!
