Here are some photos of my recently completed 1/48
scale Eduard P-39Q in Russian markings .
The aircraft depicted is a P-39Q flown by Mikhail
Rents in 1944. In common with many Russian P-39Qs, it doesn't use the
0.50 cal wing machine guns and all the armament was in the nose.
I have also enclosed a gouache painting of this
particular aircraft given by a friend of mine. The artist who painted
this drawing is Lionel Labeyrie and he is specialized in airplane
drawings (he is currently assiociated with the front page cover of the
French magazine "Avions").
The decals used here are from Cutting Edge.
