        Here are some photos of my recently completed 1/48 
        scale Eduard P-39Q in Russian markings .  
        The aircraft depicted is a P-39Q flown by Mikhail 
        Rents in 1944. In common with many Russian P-39Qs, it doesn't use the 
        0.50 cal wing machine guns and all the armament was in the nose.  
          
        
          
          
        I have also enclosed a gouache painting of this 
        particular aircraft given by a friend of mine. The artist who painted 
        this drawing is Lionel Labeyrie and he is specialized in airplane 
        drawings (he is currently assiociated with the front page cover of the 
        French magazine "Avions"). 
        The decals used here are from Cutting Edge.
