P-40K-5 Kittyhawk Mk.III

AMtech's 1/48 scale P-40E is available online from Squadron.com

This is the 1/48 AMtech P-40E kit with a few small modifications. These mainly involved reworking the tail to represent a K5 and adding photoetched belts in the cockpit.

Painted with Gunze and Testor's colours. The South African markings are from an Aeromaster decal sheet, received from one of the folks on HyperScale for free!

This wasn't a serious build and it isn't quite finished. This was a 'build for fun' effort. Brett's photography skills are far better than my modelling skill!
