Description

 

Here are some pics of my recently completed PC-9A in RAAF markings. This is the old and hard to find 1/72 Aeroclub kit.

The kit detail is pretty basic but it looks like a PC-9 and that's what I was after. I added a pilot figure (Hasegawa) and a map to the cockpit, and added the various antennas under the wing and to the fin. RAAF PC-9's have wider wheels which 'bulge' the main gear doors. I simulated these with some plastic sheet that was suitably shaped. The main panel lines were simply drawn on with a drafting pen

Decals are from Hawkeye Models and feature two FAC schemes. The kit was painted in Gunze FS 36118 Gunship Grey.
