Fairey Swordfish Mk.I |

Tamiya's 1/48
scale Swordfish Mk.I is available online from Squadron.com
Here are some images of my Tamiya 1/48 scale Swordfish.
This is the standard kit with the Tamiya etched rigging, painted with
Humbrol Alclad and Tamiya paints and finished in the pre WW2 colours of
the FAA.
I decided to finish the model with the wings folded because, until I
had built the model (when they first came out), I had not seen any
pictures of it done that way. It also takes up a lot less room on the
shelf!
Decals are from the kit and went on very well, with no problems. One
day I will get around to building one with the wings outstretched.
