Korean War Carrier in 1/72 Scale

Here is a scratchbuilt 1/72 scale model of the HMAS Sydney during its tour of service in Korean War service. This striking model and its air wing of Firefly Mk.V and Sea Furies were built by Bob Brignull of Huskisson.

The model was photographed at the 2003 NSW Scale Model Competition and Expo, hosted by the Illawarra Plastic Modellers Association.

The photos are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700 camera using the available light and a tripod.
