Description

I had to build this great little kit although it is in the 'Old Man's scale' of 1/72! I wish that Revell would scale this kit up to 48th because it is simply fantastic.

The detail and engineering is spot on and it was a real joy to build. It has been 10 years since I last built in 1/72 scale bear in mind!

The 'Operation Telic' colour scheme was done after seeing pictures posted by modellers on Hyperscale.

The decals came from the spares box as did the scratchbuilt FLIR pod on the underside of the nose (a common feature of GR4's).

It certainly looks different than the Camouflage Grey over Dark Sea Grey Tornados but I'm still at a loss to why these colours were chosen!

This scheme plus others will be available in both 48th and 72nd very soon from Model Alliance decals so watch this space!

(Editor's Note - Jon submitted this Gallery during the course of Operation Telic before the Model Alliance "Operation Telic" book and decals had been finalised).
